Cherokees to Oshkosh, a group that will take over 60 planes in formation for a Mass Arrival at the world's largest airshow in Oshkosh, WI this summer, is holding its fifth annual formation flying clinic at the Gladwin Zettel Memorial Airport, KGDW. The clinic is open to pilots who fly any of the Piper Cherokee variants and related aircraft: PA29; PA32; PA34; PA18 or who fly Grumman: Tigers, Cheetahs, or Travelers.
This is the last of ten qualifying clinics throughout the US. At least one clinic is required to participate in the 2022 Mass Arrival Saturday morning, July 23, 2022 flying from KCWA, Central Wisconsin Airport to KOSH, Oshkosh for EAA Airventure.
The clinic is free to all qualified participants (see the website for requirements).
